       掌握一种语言的最高境界是能用此语言流利地书写出自己的思想感情,而不是仅仅满足于听和说。学校的教师充分利用课文,用简单易懂的语言教会孩子们中文思维和写作特点。一般来说,在温哥华北京中文学校学习到八九年级,基本都能写出几百字像模像样的命题作文,应对中文挑战考试和中文AP考试绰绰有余。

By the time students reach Grades 8 or 9, most are able to compose well-structured essays of several hundred characters with confidence and coherence. This level of achievement equips them exceptionally well for assessments such as the Chinese Challenge Exam and the AP Chinese Language and Culture Exam.
